Join us at Knit City, Canada’s premiere fibre arts festival! 

The show will take place Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6 at the PNE Forum in beautiful Vancouver, BC.

Knit Social would like to gratefully acknowledge that Knit City takes place on the traditional unceded territory of the Coast Salish people.

Workshops available Friday October 4 through to Monday October 7, 2019.


Our world-class Marketplace will feature indie yarn dyers, local yarn stores, fibre farmers, knitwear designers, notions makers and more. 

The Marketplace will be open to the public Saturday October 5 from 9am-6pm and Sunday October 6 from 9am-3pm.

*New for 2019 - Early Bird Admission to the Marketplace on Saturday and Sunday for workshop attendees and Early Bird Pass Holders* more information on this will be available April 2019

Marketplace admission will be $12/day. Children 12 and under are free. Saturday and Sunday Marketplace admission is complimentary with the purchase of any workshop.

This year we are pleased to announce that a portion of all admission proceeds will be donated to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver and the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre.

Workshops in advanced hand knitting techniques, knitwear design, tech editing, weaving and hand-dying will be offered this year by some of the industry's top instructors. Free Demonstrations will be offered on Saturday and Sunday in the Marketplace.

Workshops will run from Friday October 4 until Monday October 7.

Full workshop schedule will be available May 2019.
