The show will take place Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6 at the PNE Forum in beautiful Vancouver, BC.

Knit Social would like to gratefully acknowledge that Knit City takes place on the traditional unceded territory of the Coast Salish people.

Our world-class Marketplace will feature indie yarn dyers, local yarn stores, fibre farmers, knitwear designers, notions makers and more. 

The Marketplace will be open to the public Saturday October 5 from 9am-6pm and Sunday October 6 from 9am-3pm.

Marketplace admission will be $12/day. Children 12 and under are free. Saturday and Sunday Marketplace admission is complimentary with the purchase of any workshop. Early Admission (8:30am) is granted to all workshop registrants and Early Admission pass holders. More info can be found on our FAQ page HERE.

Advance on-line tickets are sold out, however Marketplace Tickets can be purchased at the door on Saturday and Sunday.

This year we are pleased to announce that the proceeds of the Early Admission passes will be donated to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver and the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre.


Workshops in advanced hand knitting techniques, knitwear design, tech editing, weaving and hand-dying will be offered this year by some of the industry's top instructors. Free Demonstrations will be offered on Saturday and Sunday in the Marketplace.

Workshops will run from Friday October 4 until Monday October 7.
